Administrative Core

The Administrative Core will provide for the overall leadership and scientific oversight of the Center. The organization of the Center is shown in the figure below. There are a total of 5 Research Projects, two Cores (Animal Behavior Core and Pilot Core) and a Data Analysis component (see below). Primary among the Specific Aims for the Administrative Core is the fostering of communication and synergy among the Center projects.
Data Analysis, Integration, and Resource Sharing Component

The Administrative Core includes a Data Analysis, Integration, and Resource Sharing (DAIRS) component to conduct advanced data analysis procedures that are not contained within individual projects, provide mechanisms for data sharing and integration, and manage a web portal or other public-facing resources to provide VCU-ARC data to the public and the alcohol research community.
